How to share your ultrasound pregnancy scans with Tricefy
Nowadays, everything is integrated and connected online. The health sector is also starting to function in the same way. Previously, medical images were generally confined to the walls of an office or hospital, and sharing information required travel and wasted time especially for patients who had to go to hospital every time they needed to retrieve files. These days, it is easier to share this information as there is software like Tricefy that stores all ultrasound images securely off-site with direct access anytime, anywhere. It will be easier for us with this software to obtain our medical images.
Tricefy has been integrated into the ultrasound equipment, so that means that you can get your scan pictures via the app. After receiving the photos you can share them with your family and friends and even on social networks with just one click with the app. This is precisely the purpose of this software, it is to be able to give the opportunity to share the images of your ultrasound with your loved ones in a few clicks.
What is Tricefy ?
Tricefy is an ultrasound cloud that allows physicians to focus on what matters most by streamlining workflow and for patients to get, share, edit physician-sent images on their phones. It all starts with the device we know, which is the ultrasound machine. It shares specific information with patients and other physicians on the fly with just the push of a single button on the ultrasound system.
Since Tracefy is a cloud application, users access it mainly through the internet, which means that it is partly managed by a server and not just by the user’s local machine. Since file sharing on the Internet is accessible to everyone, it is easy to share files such as ultrasound images. We may think that this software is intended for healthcare professionals, but it is not. What is interesting is that it has been done more precisely for individuals or patients who do ultrasound scans to obtain the images as quickly as possible. And these images can also be shared quickly through the app. Patients can add the Tricefy app to their mobile and receive images instantly which are sent by physicians. So physicians can send the images to us anywhere and anytime instantly. No need to print the image or transfer it to USB sticks.
How to use Tricefy ?
For the physicians, Tricefy is easy to set up, a standard internet connection is needed and 30 minutes to spare. Since Tricefy is cloud-based, there is no hardware or software to create. A cloud database is a type of database service that is built, deployed, and delivered through a cloud platform. It enables organizations, end users and their applications to store, manage, and retrieve data in the cloud.
Tricefy offers compatibility with all ultrasound machines currently available on the market. Some newer systems already come with a Tricefy inside. For example, a GE Voluson already has Tricefy Inside, and it is enough to activate the Tricefy account.
For the patient, there is no need for technical installation, we have just to:
- Install the app on the phone.
- Open the e-mail or SMS from the doctor.
- Tap the link to the images.
After that, you can check the images every time you want or share them to your relatives or on social networks.
Is it secure ?
The information that are going to be shared is medical information, so it is very sensitive. People are often reluctant to share their data online and want a guarantee of security for their personal information, especially sensitive data such as medical imaging.
Tricefy is built on global security and privacy standards such as Food and Drug Administration, Transport Layer Security, Advanced Encryption Standard, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, European Commission Medical Devices Directive, etc. that ensure compliance is always maintained. We can assure that the use of this software is completely secure.
Tricefy is a very useful software for doctors and patients. This makes it easy to share images after the ultrasound without having to go far. In addition to the ease of use Tricefy is also very secure, so there is no risk of documents being misused. Tricefy is the ultrasound cloud that helps you focus on what matters most by revolutionizing the way you collaborate, share and access and share your ultrasound exams.
What Our Patients Say
“This is my second visit to Merrion Fetal, I was very pleased on both occasions. Lovely quiet waiting room, appointment was on time. The 20-week scan is very detailed we enjoyed watching our baby on the large TV screen. We got some beautiful photos. The nurse was very pleasant and talked us through all the measurements and anatomy. I would highly recommend this scanning clinic.”
“I had the best experience at the Merrion Fetal Health clinic for my 20-week big scan. The staff were so friendly and so nice and the lovely lady who did my ultrasound scan was amazing. She was so thoroughgoing to absolutely everything and gave me such reassurance on how my baby was growing and developing. I would recommend any Mother to be to attend here if you are looking for a comfortable, reassuring and super pleasant experience.”
“Highly recommend! We had an early scan due to a little scare at the start of pregnancy and then another at 12 weeks to make sure all was good again. Helen who was scanning on both days was fantastic. We felt totally relaxed and un-rushed while she took her time finding the best angle of baby to get us the clearest pictures as keepsakes all while making sure everything was perfect with baby. She reassured us throughout and I can honestly say it was the best money we ever spent getting both scans done.
Please let Helen know we are 18 weeks now and flying along Highly recommend!
